Do you provide free estimates on repairs?
We include the diagnostic with our arrival fee for one low flat rate price. Two for the price of one.
What is the difference between a free estimate and diagnostic?
During a free estimate, one of our service techs will come out and perform a heat load on your house among other checks. A unit size will be determined and we will provide you options to choose from our advanced technology inventory. A diagnostic fee is applied for troubleshooting a malfunctioning furnace, AC, Heat Pump, Etc.
How much is your diagnostic fee and what does it cover?
The diagnostic fee depends on travel, and availability.

What Training do Global International Heating And Cooling Technicians receive?
Yes, we provide paid yearly training to our air conditioning and furnace repair technicians. Our Technicians have undergone extensive training. On top of a 2 year HVAC/R college Diploma. They also possess Epa 608 Type 1,2, and 3 universal certificate. Epa 609 MVAC. R410A Certificate. HC/HFO Certificate. Indoor air quality certificate. Green certificate. PM Tech certificate. And attend Monthly Distributor Trainings to keep up with the advancing technology.
What Brand Unit Do We Recommend? What is The Best Brand out there?
A unit with the highest warranty attached to it and having it properly installed is the best unit.

Why is my thermostat blank?
Check/replace batteries. . Electrical fault. Give us a call and we will help you with this.
How many vents can I close off?
No more than ( 20%) during heating season. it can cause hot air to back feed and shut the unit off by opening high limit safety switches, as they heat beyond their limits. This is for your safety.
Where is the load noise coming from?
This is likely to be a bad compressor motor, condenser motor or blower motor. There are some compressors that make start up/shut down noises and that is normal.
How cold should my vents blow during AC season??
17-21 degrees colder air than room ambient temperature. We call this Temp split or DeltaT
How warm should my supply vent air be when I turn on my Furnace/Heat pump?
Anywhere from 30d Fahrenheit to 50d Fahrenheit warmer than indoor temperature. Check manufacturer spec sheet for accuracy.
Should I buy a heat pump or furnace?
A heat pump provides mechanical and electrical heat as an addition. A furnace is a propane/ natural gas unit which blows a lot hotter air and is more efficient during very cold weather below 35d Fahrenheit. The most common option for the PNW is a natural gas furnace.
Do seer ratings matter?
Yes! Did you know that it is illegal in Florida to install a 13 seer air conditioning unit? The Seasonal energy efficiency rating is important not only for your monthly electrical bill savings but also in its ability to cool in hot weather. The lower the seer rating, the harder the unit will have to work and the more amperage it will pull, in order to keep up during very hot days between 88-115d Fahrenheit.
